Hello everyone ! i hope you are having a nice day . Lets say for example i have 2 tables one is
institutionCatgories --------------------------- | idCategory | --------------------------- | descCategory | -------------------------- institutions --------------------------- | idInstitution | -------------------------- | institution | -------------------------- | idCategoryFK | --------------------------- Te tables are bigger but this is the only needed for the example, and i want to have 2 listboxes the first with the categories and the second with the institutions that belongs to the category selected on the first listbox. So my intention is that after the user selects the first listbox the second automatically populates with the institutions but only the ones that belongs to the category. Im looking on google with "Listbox selection to populate another listbox" and also with "php dependent dropdownlists", but had no luck , i can only find examples for asp.net :( Maybe you guys can help me with this (a little code maybe ? ) , or with some links to this subject, i think its with javascript but no luck finding some good example...
