I am also using jquery with Cake. The beauty is you can eliminate all that inline javascript generate by the Protoype AJAX Helper. I am experimenting with a Parsing routine(BTW used in ThickBox) in which you can pass the action in the controller in a QueryString. I saw someone implementing this idea using Symphony and jQuery. I also understand there is no need for a helper...
