Well, that sucks.

I guess I'm different because I don't use the built-in helpers for my
AJAX stuff.  I'm a Yahoo YUI user at this point, but I've been prodded
at to take a look at jQuery and perhaps even contribue a helper for
it.  I found the javascript that the helpers spit out to be hard to
debug, but I'm probably in the minority.

If only I was independantly wealthy and could work on projects like
CakePHP full-time. :)
