yes, that the cool thing about it.. you can run unlimited apps, each within an own subfolder, using just one cake install

cake-install/app/ - default
cake-install/blog/ - project 1
cake-install/notes/ - project 2
cake-install/portal/ - project 3
...
cake-install/homepage/ - project 7
cake-install/vendors/ - default
cake-install/cake/ - default

On localhost the cake install is my webserver document-root.
Freedom to bake :)

Also good if new release comes out.. just replace the "cake" folder and you are up to date on all projects.

Hi there,

I have my subdomain (e.g. app1.cake.localhost) pointing to app/webroot/index.php.

I personally think this is the easiest best for me.
