Mikeeeeeeeee; thanks alot, thats excatly what im trying to do. im used to hard code my php from ground up suddenly this cake is so easy but i keep thinking and expecting complex. i was trying to build custom sql functions inside models and cotrollers for that matter but thanks to you Ziad
