I've done some searching and found transactions comes up sometimes but there doesn't appear to be a definite answer.
I found this : https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/832 And I see that the dbo_mssql.php file has some transaction support in it. Has anyone tried the patched model with mysql to use transactions ? I have an application that I need transactions for and right now I'm having to delete an inserted row if a insert to another table fails.
