Sorry if this can't be done or is really simple, I'm just starting out with CakePHP.
I would like to have a virtual field for a model that I have, which would contain a $match[1] of preg_match($regex, $text, $match), if that makes sense. Basically use the preg_match to grab a bit of text from a long message, and place it in the virtual field. Is that possible?
