afternoon gentlemen, [Yes, I am sucking up]
Please forgive me as I realise this is probably not the mailing list for such a question. However, I thought with the bounty of talent found within these hallowed emails that someone might know a gem off the top of their head they could point me towards. I've got a couple of youngsters on the rise here at my little shop and remembered that when I started out my senior gave me a nice standards doco that helped me out no end. It was nothing too overbearing, nothing too complex, just logical statement order, variable naming conventions, that kind of thing. For me, at least, I found it invaluable in the team environment. The two of us were able to pump out applications quickly and easily together; independently; switching between; working concurrently; all without a hassle. Our coding styles were different but everything that mattered was consistent. So, I'm on the prowl for one, Googling as we speak. I thought I might throw it out there as I rate recommendations far above search results.
