I know it's in the manual and I have read and re-read it, but I just
can't get cookies to work. I use
$this->Cookie->write('surgeon',
$this->data['Op']['Surgeon.id']);
to set my cookie. First question is what do I need the "setup" for
(http://book.cakephp.org/view/1281/Controller-Setup)? Since I use the
cookie name in the write function, what is the name in the 'setup'? I
have tried to read the cookie
$this->Cookie->read('surgeon')
but I get a strange error message.....
Notice (8): Undefined variable: logged_in [APP
\views\layouts\default.ctp, line 49]
Help...I'm obviously confused....
