Hi guys, I am new to Cake and just touched it a few days ago. My team did the site BetaMarker with Prado and Propel. For fatest code generation, we used symforny code generator. Though after the site successfully launch, the company decides to built a framework ourself. I dont like Prado as it make poeple coding PHP think about .NET in way to solve problem at the GUI layer via GUI event handlers. Symfony is nice but it makes lot of troubles as things done with configurations. I dont like configuration files but Symfony use tons of them. As I start to build a framework for the team, Cake is very straightforward, easy to start and don't boxing too man things in it such as a back office (like seagull) or a template engine or some modules that I want to built and control the way I like.
