redirect to:
array('controller'=>'pages', 'action'=>'home', 1) or
array('controller'=>'pages', 'action'=>'home',
'popupQuestionnaire'=>1)

Or save a value to the session.

Using any of the above will allow you to check for a value within your
home page view and run some javascript.
