It makes me question slightly what CakePHP is Good For again any more; am I wrong in my thinking? Why is this so overly complex to do something that is supposed to be very simple. Does any one have recommendations on good frame works such as http://doophp.com/demos/rest_client_server/index.php/example or http://getfrapi.com but with the features that I have loved in CakePHP since 2005 ????
