You mean the find before the find if the id isn´t the first parameter
of the method I guess :)?
If anyone finds that the fundamentals of ACL don't fit in with their
app, it´s worth taking a look at (least at the structure of) phpGACL.
There's not much you can't do with that and a well thought out
implementation. That said there's not much you can't do with the cake
ACL implementation (which is just a 'pure' ACL solution) if that's well
thought out :)

The manual/bakery is a good place to start any quest for info.
The cake search (at the time of writing) erroneously reports less/no
results for the google group.
