I'm new to ckaephp so take my advice with a grain of salt... but, it
looks like your trying to generate a spreadsheet type document. Cake
has a csv helper to aid in this
add var $helpers = array('Csv'); to your controller
then you can
$csv->addRow();
$csv->render();
