Hi Daniel, I haven't used WAMP to setup, but I do have Cake 2.0 installed on a Windows 7 machine. (as well as Linux and Vista).
One thing to check would be your .htaccess files (there is one at the base cake installation, the app folder, and the webroot folder. Also make sure in your WAMP settings that you have mod_rewrite enabled. Hope that helps, or points you in the right direction...
