I tried everything and I still don't understand why this isn't working
in my UsersController :

public function isAuthorized($user) {
        if (parent::isAuthorized($user)) {
            return true;
        }

        if (($this->action === 'edit') && ($this->User->id === $this-

            return true;
        }

        return false;
    }
