I'm looking at adding Memcached to my application I understand there is already a built in option for this in CakePHP. I wanted to know if I'm still required to build a caching layer were I link the cache to a key that represents the data in the database. and when it comes time to clear it you just search for that key and remove it. Or is this already done via CakePHP and I just need to add Memcached?
