but I've created a simple workaround (if you dont want to create a class 
just for this) which looks like this:


public function login() {
  Security::setHash(...method...);
  // disable salt
  
$salt=Configure::read('Security.salt');Configure::write('Security.salt','');
  ...$this->Auth->login()...
  // restore salt
  Configure::write('Security.salt',$salt);
}
