Tried that - could not figure out how to disable DB connection
checking by cake, hence use the AppError for it.

Of Course my whole install thing will get messed up if the DB
connection failed after a successful install.

However the app is not bogged down with any pre-checks even after install...

A better approach is definitely needed - enlightenment would be appreciated
