I use this in AppController:
function origReferer(){
return $this->Session->read('referer');
}
function setReferer(){
$this->Session->write('referer', $this->referer());
}
This way I can cross multiple pages and keep track of where I want to refer
them back too using $this->redirect($this->origReferer());
