http://ad7six.com/dump/favicon-v-cakephp-sharedhost.png That's their 2.0.6 cakephp repo on a shared host compared to a static file request, for up to 100 concurrent requests using blitz.io. *It's a shared host*, so absolute numbers are not going to be awesome (I am not interested in benching other frameworks) - but 52ms* is an age faster than 15000ms - and that's using *exactly* the same code as is in their git repo. What can you conclude from the above? That benchamarks which involve a laptop (and are hammering localhost) are a waste of time.
