Hello. I am eager to get into CakePHP - it looks great. However, I have been trying to set up CakePHP on Mac OSX all day. The installation seems straightforward but for some reason I can not decompress any version of the CakePHP download. Usually you just double-click on it but that does nothing. I even tried to figure out how to decompress it using the Terminal (following vague instructions from the web) but that didn't work either. The article at The Bakery called "Installing CakePHP on MacOS X" sounded promising but the article glossed over the decompression part so I assume that it must be easy and I am doing something wrong. I tried to register at The Bakery so I could leave a comment but the registration form does not seem to work. It tells me to "fix the errors indicated below" but does not actually indicate any errors - plus I made sure not to make errors. Wow, am I frustrated! Does any kind soul have any ideas that could help me out at this point? Thanks in advance.
