I have two tables resumes and links.resumes has many link and I defined has
many relationship in ResumeTableI. I did it like following.
In Model/Table/ResumesTable.php
<?php
namespace App\Model\Table;
use Cake\ORM\Table;
use Cake\Validation\Validator;
$validator = new Validator();
class ResumesTable extends Table {
public function initialize(array $config) {
$this->addBehavior('Timestamp');
$this->belongsTo('Users', [
'foreignKey' => 'user_id',
]);
$this->hasMany('Links', ['className' => 'Links',]);
}
In ResumesController.php
$resume = $this->Resumes->newEntity($this->request->data);
if ($this->Resumes->save($resume)) {
// return true;
}
