I've put my web application on my univ's lab server and my page didn't
load at all (even 1 page). I've been told from the admin that I can't
use mod_rewrite in Apache configuration. So, I try follow the
instruction in the manual:
- Clear out the comment on core.php that looks like define ('BASE_URL',
env('SCRIPT_NAME'));
- Delete all .htaccess in root, root/app/, root/app/webroot --> I've
read this in core.php

After that, the welcome screen from cake is seen (which it contains
"... your database is present.."). But when I try to point out the
address, something looks like http://localhost/username/users/index,
the Apache server return "not found".

I've also tried to leave .htaccess in root, root/app, root/app/webroot,
and append "RewriteBase /username/" in .htaccess file but all seems
didn't work at all.

So, how to solve this problem? I've no idea at all. Thanks in advance.
