Afternoon all,

I've discovered the method I'm using for searching my model's and
associated model's is extremely memory intensive and folds at a mere
thousand or so records. So...

Q : If one was attempting to search for a( / some) key word(s) within
a particular model and all associated models, how would people go
about it?

I don't mean everything from start to finish - the basics I'm ok with.
I'm particularly interested in how you would obtain the data. Be it :

- one large SQL statement
- use of findAll and then processing the returned arrays
- etc

I don't want to go in to too many examples as I don't want to
influence the response. It is a bit of a broad question at the moment,
and if I can think of how to go about refining it I shall update the
thread. I'm not looking for an answer as such but an open forum of
discussion around the topic.

My brain is stuck around a particular concept at this point and I'm
looking for some inspiration to spark it down an alternate path. I
would like very much to keep things to the Cake standard if at all
possible, but anything goes to be honest. I just need to get my head
out of this rut.

Any and every answer is appreciated, thanks guys!
