I have used the dhtmlgoodies_calendar.js and waas quite easy to do.
Only has a js file and a css, either you put your js to the vendor di
or in your webroot/js and the css in your webroot/css.
Make a search on the name, I do not remember the link but it comes with
sample for the usage
