I can't comment on the YUI framework, it was a bit too complicated for my brain to wrap around in a short period of time, that is why I started learn the jquery framework, and I must say, aside from not enough examples and documentation on the full scope and abilities of the ajax functions ($.ajax, $.post, $.get...), I love it and pretty sure I will not be trying an other framework anytime soon.
well, back on topic, hydra12, can you give me some examples on how you set up your pages as far as the ajax page, did you create a view for each one of your functions. I think that is what is giving me a hard time to grasp. woody, "which uses prototype under the hood?": no, jquery does not use prototype as it's backbone as some other frameworks do. This I am not 100% on, but i'm like 99%. As for the making ajax plural, that is what I was having an issue with also, not just because of how you make it plural, but because it does not have table in the db called "ajax", that is why i have $userTable =false. hydra12, if you can get back to me on how you do what you do, I would greatly appreciate it. -------------------------------------- Benjamin Sterling KenzoMedia.com <http://www.kenzomedia.com/> KenzoHosting.com <http://www.kenzohosting.com/> --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
