I have searched and searched and searched...and not found a consistent or clear answer on this.
I have CakePHP installed and currently have WAMP 1.6.6, and when using PHP5 or PHP4, when I access a view I created at http://localhost/users/register I get a 404 Not Found error (testing in Firefox). I have the same files set up on my web host remotely and it seems to be working there. I think it's a mod_rewrite issue from what I've read. I've enabled mod_rewrite and restarted services. Still the same issue. I've modified the .htaccess file and still no go (though I may not have been told the right settings to use). When I access my install at http://localhost it's fine. Just not the view I've created. How do you set WAMP to work with CakePHP?? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
