Hi all,

I'm developing an application on my Windows platform with CakePHP. One
of the controllers should generate PDF files, which works great on
Windows. However, when transfering the development website to the live
Linux server, the headers are lost and only raw data is displayed.

Here is the header output using the Windows server:
Date: Thu, 29 Mar 2007 10:09:58 GMT
Server: Apache/2.0.59 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.0.59 OpenSSL/0.9.8d PHP/4.4.4
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.4
Set-Cookie: CAKEPHP=437fb2289d7e3a4716b53b24df0ff388; path=/
CAKEPHP=437fb2289d7e3a4716b53b24df0ff388; path=/
CAKEPHP=437fb2289d7e3a4716b53b24df0ff388; path=/
CAKEPHP=437fb2289d7e3a4716b53b24df0ff388; path=/
Content-Length: 939
Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=100
Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-Type: application/pdf
200 OK

Here is the header output using the Linux server:
Date: Thu, 29 Mar 2007 10:10:14 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) mod_gzip/1.3.26.1a mod_auth_passthrough/
1.8 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.4.3 mod_log_bytes/1.2 FrontPage/
5.0.2.2635.SR1.2 mod_ssl/2.8.28 OpenSSL/0.9.7a
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.3
Keep-Alive: timeout=8
Connection: Keep-Alive
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Content-Type: text/html
200 OK

Did anybody encounter such behaviour before? Especially the
differences in the Content-Type header are problematic, because this
causes the display of raw data. Any help is more than welcome!

Cheers,

Jan
