Hi there, i'm sorry for re-posting this issue (bug?), but we're still in the need of finding a solution.
When i set session to "database" i assumed that all session data handling is done by cake. I also thought that this setting is independent of any server side php.ini settings. On my local machine the garbage collection _gc is called properly, but never on a remote server, which leads to the fact that all session entries are kept in the database, even those which have expired one week ago. is there any _gc probability / whatever php setting that is not overwritten by the cake session class, and has to be adjusted manually ? thx, jyrgen --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cake PHP" group.
