Hi all, I'm developing a component that will use values setteds in the controller to execute some routines. But when I call my controllers (that use this component) via Ajax the startup() method (and the init() also) isn't called. The result is that i haven't a reference to the controller and i can't use its values.
Somebody knows if this is an intentional behavior of the component or if this can be a bug in the core of cake?
