If you use the request handler component, (and set the right header if you´re not using scriptaculous),you cna add something like
if (request->isAjax()) this->layout=null to beforeFilter or beforeRender, so you can get the same content from a URL, but the layout is only delivered for non Ajax requests. On May 16, 2:25 am, "R.
