I like the design, mate good job, I don't like the attitude though! why deisgn for only 50% of people? http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp - Firefox has a 30%+ share now, how can you ignore that? Plus, FireFox is a better browser than IE, lots of development places will use FF first and IE second (to check IE hasn't broken perfectly good pages), so any possible employers may well be put off by the fact your site doesn't display correctly. My advice would be to always design/build for the standards-compliant browsers (firefox, camino, safari etc) first, then move on to making specific IE only changes in IE only stylesheets (google IE conditional comment css).
