hi, I can see the windows box via ping, I actually login on it using rdesktop but I cannot connect to it on port 1433, I stop windows firewall already and I can connect to it via cakephp but only locally (from the same windows box).
Is there something needed in order to allow remote connections to SQL Server 2000?
