Please disregard my previous post. For future reference, the fix is to
specify the foreign key in the model for the table that links to it,
like this:
class Timesheet extends AppModel {
var $belongsTo = array(
'Employee' => array ('className' => 'Employee',
'foreignKey' => 'person_id')
);
}
