Hi all, We're about to potentially undergo development on a very high-traffic site using Cake as our back-end framework. If we do go down this road and it's successful, we'll look to build other sites and applications on the framework; from our dabblings so far, it seems very flexible and something that does a lot of what we need.
What advice would you give to developers like us regarding fine-tuning Cake and making sure our code runs optimally in a LAMP environment? And does anyone have experience running it on (gasp! think of the children!) IIS? Hopefully this information will be useful to other people too :) If we do end up using Cake, we'll make sure we share our experiences.
