Thanks for the help guys. I guess I would need cake installed on each
server because some content, specifically videos, can only be accessed
by members of the site. AD7six brought up something I didn't even
think about. Shared sessions. Thats going to be a whole other
challenge in terms of getting that setup on the servers correctly.

This brings up another question. Assuming I can get the servers setup
to share the session, and I can check if someone is logged in to serve
a specific video, how can I prevent someone from viewing a video
directly?

For example:

http://videos.domain.com/my_test_file.flv

Is there a way to restrict direct access to a video file since no
controller was called?
