If you're talking about porting a current application to CakePHP --
sure, it's doable -- but the time and effort factor depends largely on
how the original application is written, and you level of understanding
of the CakePHP framework. I'd say your first steps should be focused around determining whether or not to invest time into porting an existing application to the framework by getting to know CakePHP. Study the manual, write a test application, and play the it for a bit. Additionally, you'll need to have a good understanding of the existing application to determine if porting it to Cake is a good choice. [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi ! I am coming into a php apps which has been developped last year. It is pretty complex application. I was wondering :How is it to warp an existing application with Cakephp Framework ? If it can be a clever choice, would someone suggest me the first steps to proceed ( cake is installed on my server and running) and another folder, my app is installed and working.
