It's almost bizarre, I have just started fiddling with Cake in the last week... and look after a Joomla site, and was thinking "the reason I haven't developed shed loads of components is that it needs to be integrated with Cake, hell even built on it"...
And now Mambo have made this move. I will watch with great interest, and when you do release on Cake, I think you can expect a flood of components/modules and god knows what else A brave decision, well made.
