Anybody uses CakePHP in SOA environment? I want to write some REST based web services using CakePHP. To get it going is pretty simple. I will use CakePHP model and controller. The presentation layer is just XML or JSON so I don't need CakePHP's views. I just have one small problem, CakePHP session. since my REST services are stateless, I really don't need CakePHP to track sessions. I'm proposing that CakePHP should create a ServiceController that doesn't initialize Session component in the constructor.
