I found the solution yesterday with regard to admin routing:

You need to pass a parameter: 'admin'='1'

EXAMPLE (config/routes.php):
----------------------------------------------------------------
Router::connect('/', array('controller' => 'home', 'action' =>
'index', 'admin' => '1'));
----------------------------------------------------------------

+ I found this usefull in the Bakery:
