Thanks for commenting on my snipet R.  After posting my initial idea I
realized that if the tables are modeled correctly a findAll method
could be used to pass all of the data to the view (which seems to be
what is being described in your reference article.)  However,  might
it be more efficient to pass only that information from the "foreign"
model tables needed in the view rather than "all" of the information
in the model?  Large data set situations?  Trying to learn this
framework and appreciate any discussion and comments.
