I don't disagree with many of your comments.

I've run into some form issues too, but I've posted them and some have
already been resolved:

I don't think <divs> should be automatic either. Perhaps post a couple
bugs (with patches!) and track them for a bit. If they make sense,
they will probably be accepted.
