Maybe I wasn't clear enough: this is a database admin application, what do I do, I choose a random table from the the random databases and make a dynamic model? this isn't very good programming practice... even so, I can't dynamically switch databases that are not defined in the database config... I think this cakephp isn't what I as looking for in this case, I think I am going to switch to code igniter and see what it can offer for this...
