Hi

Sorry about the last message. I did find the file here;

/private/etc/apache2/original/httpd.conf

changed the AllowOveriride from None to All

I have the following mod_rewrite:
LoadModule rewrite_module libexec/apache2/mod_rewrite.so

do i need to change it to:
LoadModule rewrite_module libexec/httpd/mod_rewrite.so

just in case, this is what my .htaccess has:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteRule    ^$    appname/app/webroot/    [L]
    RewriteRule    (.*) appname/app/webroot/$1    [L]
 </IfModule>

thanks
