In my login panel, after the focus is lost from the "Username" textbox, I want a javascript function to validate on the "onBlur" event of "Username" textbox to check whether the username is left blank or not. I am new to cakephp and i am tyring to learn javascript helper using the above example. Pls someone guide me how to write $javascript->link and $javascript->event. Your help is greatly appreciated.
