Hello b logica,
yes you are right, i had auto_start set off in development machine and set
on in production machine's ini. so it was working on the development machine
but not working on the production machine. I am thankful to you for pointing
me in the right direction. And yes setting seesion.auto_start to 0 in
htaccess resolves stuff.
But i would really like to know that why did not the session variable
reading work with session.auto_start set to 1.
