I'm fairly new to the Oracle world, but I've been using oracle with Cake pretty good until now. The oracle administrator has something set up called "view", which in my understanding is a query against the system table that acts as its own table. While you can log in via the command line and query against this "view", Cake will not connect. Has anyone ran into this problem or does anyone have an idea of a way to get this working?
