Oh and if you need a stable version try 1.1. Anyway no one on the dev team ever claimed 1.2 alpha or pre beta would not change. Also, you were using params['pass'] incorrectly. It is not meant to be accessed. It has been documented to use passedArgs and namedArgs for quite some time. both are properties of the view and controller and those are the things that have not changed. I suggest actually "learning" the software before trying to build enterprise applications on it. Certainly, if stability is concerned, your years of OS experience should tell you not to use anything before it gets into beta.
