I've been a cakephp (1.1) programmer for almost a year now and I've often wondered about these things that I don't think are covered in the manual.
Is it better to put the data sanitation methods in the controller, before the model->save(), or in the model's before_save() ? Are both acceptable in MVC? Do you throw a flash message if $this->data has changed from sanitation before saving? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CakePHP" group.
